In July 2019 I published another questionnaire to assess your tastes in female muscle comics. In this particular list of questions, I was looking for which relationships between characters you find the most exciting. You find the original survey here still.
Basically, I asked you to tell me which of the following relationships you were most interested in (we're always talking about strong, muscular women and tiny, short men).
423 people answered this survey (I would have gotten more responses if I would've put this survey in the newsletter as well, but I got enough as it was). Let me tell you something about the results (which I'm taking into account for my comics about amazon women).
Four of these options got noticeably fewer positive ratings, and there's a common thread among them: family relationships. Even though I'm not talking about blood relatives (there's the step-part, you know), people clearly seem less enthusiastic about these kind of relationships. The one relationship where there is actually a blood-connection (cousin and niece) got the lowest rating of all (not even half of the highest rated option, which I'll get to). Stepfather and stepdaughter, stepson and stepmom, and stepbrother and older sister did better than cousin and niece, but still scored significantly less than other options. There is one exception here: a stepbrother and a younger stepsister (which actually will be the topic of an upcoming comic called My best friend's brother), scored quite well - and actually ended in second place. So I might revisit that theme at some point.
So we got second place covered. Third and fourth place go to male student and female teacher, and male teacher and female student, respectively, with not that much difference between them. The theme of a tall, muscular female teacher and short male student has been developed in The Teacher, while small male teachers and tall, muscular female students have featured in Marjorie: the sub (see pic below) and also in Bigger than the Boys.
So, did you figure out by now which option was voted as the absolute number one? I must say it came as a surprise to me. It's the husband and wife/boyfriend and girlfriend option - with 636 points it scored over one hundred points higher than number two (stepbrother and younger stepsister). I think I'll need to ask you guys (and occasional girl) what exactly you like about this kind of relationship - and feel free to let me know in the comments. Should the two be married, or just boyfriend and girlfriend? Fresh relationship, or long standing? With growth, or not? How dominant should the wife or girlfriend be?
In any case, I have of course explored the partner dynamic in quite a few stories: in Amber and Julian (there are actually several couples in there), in Stepmom, in The Bully, in Katie... But I'd love to find out what exactly it is that you find so exciting about partner relationships. For now, I hope you'll enjoy the upcoming The Bride.
And by the way, male boss and female employee and male employee and female boss scored pretty well (below the top four, but not that much), and I'll definitely work more with these themes.
Oh, and there's of course relationship that weren't covered in the survey: like the doctor patient relationship that you can see in Amazon Doctor, Doctor's Appointment, and especially - more developed - in Muscle Therapy.

I just love your comics on amazon women.I love the details that go into them,very realistic.My favorites are The Bully,The Stepmom,Big Sister,My Girlfriend Tania,My Best Friends Brother and Mother and Daughter. I would love to see more of them all,especially Mother and Daughter. I can’t wait to see what happens to Kurt when he gets home with Annelies and Nina her mother. I can just imagine what crazy sexual things they have in stored for that little guy. I would also like to see more development in My Best Friends Brother with Sammy and his girlfriend Tanya and his sister Shirley,perhaps something a lot more kinky.In My girlfriend Tania, I would love to see Timmy hook up with Tania’s mom Janet.The sight of that little guy getting it off with that gigantic beautiful woman would be breathtaking.So keep up with the good and keep making those great comics of Amazonias sexually dominating those little guys.Thank you,Bill.
I wish to see relationship where a one dominative school boy and his (gang) treats the girl in wrong way such beat her and insult her but a few months of summer holiday the girl starts workout and become stronger than the boys and his (gang) and then they come back to school after holiday and things change to a boys and his (gang)
My thoughts on the girlfriend/wife and husband. I like the woman to be quite large and strong. She might stalk him and be overly attached. She runs off all other normal women that might be attracted to him. Seemingly incontrollably using her size and strength the have her way with him. Even in public she stakes her claim.
I greatly wish that you would bring back “The Bully,part 5,6,7” with only Mary McKenzie & little Mason. I love how she sexually bullies and torments him. You should have them go away for a week, and stay in a high-rise hotel, just the 2 of them. Mary should overwhelm mason in sexual lust, that he is addicted to her body forever Let the sex be most explicit and fun. Most of all, when Mary strips naked please let her keep those sexy blue pattered socks on. They should be her permanent lingerie outfit. Look forward to seeing The Bully back.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend is nice and should develop into husband/wife. She should assert full control by the 3rd year of marriage.
It will be great if your story The Bride we could have several series in witch the bride will become the boss of the household.
I believe the growth of the girlfriend over boyfriend is very attractive… like they met before and she was shorter and then over time she outgrew him and became more powerful(kinda like Katie story)

You’ve heard from me before on this topic, and i’ve gotten good responses on other forums, but i am interested to see some stories where the girls is covered with either blond or dark hair, take your pick. I love the idea of the guy being clean shaven and the girls covered with a light coating of FUZZ to further emasculate the men. Please draw one comic like this, i think people would buy it like crazy, i for sure would buy each and every one of them. Cheers, D.J.
